About
Leather | We have placed a great deal of thought
in the leathers selected for our line. In making your choice, please
give a little thought to your plans for the leather, not just the
color. The two basic categories represented by our line include
Aniline, and Aniline-Plus leathers. Aniline leathers represent the
most completely natural leathers. The hides are dyed during the
tanning process with a translucent dye. Because of this, the grain of
the hide is visible along with natural scars and wrinkles that are
nature's signature. The color of Aniline leather will change with age,
developing a soft 'patina'. If Aniline leather sounds just right for
you, take a look at our Essence (B Grade), Chesterfield, Eternity and
Angel selections.

| | Care: Avoid direct sunlight. Dust with a clean
soft cloth. Blot spills immediately with a clean soft cloth and allow
to dry naturally. DO NOT USE ANY LIQUIDS (INCLUDING WATER) OR
CHEMICAL CLEANERS ON ANILINE LEATHERS. Now, if you have active kids
and pets to share your furniture (as we do), or any situation that
requires extra durability, you should take a look at our Aniline-Plus
Leathers, Cascade, Tuscany, Mandalay (B Grade) and Designers Choice.
Same dyeing process as Aniline, but with the addition of concentrated
surface pigments to produce bright, vibrant colors without sacrificing
a soft buttery 'hand'. Care instructions are the same with the
exception that a very lightly damp cloth can be used to dust. With any
leather B, we purchase full hides. For this reason we have a 4 seat
minimum for dining chairs and bar stools. If you need fewer than 4,
the leather charge is $400 and we will ship the unused leather to
you. |
